In this video, the project tells the story how, in mediaeval times and up to the 16th century, inhabitants of Swaledale in North Yorkshire used to carry their dead to a place of burial in Grinton over an established track called the 'Corpse Way'. Track still exists today, and the project re-enacts the task of carrying a corpse from the Dales to Grinton.

The Corpse Way is an ancient 16 mile long path in the Yorkshire Dales. This video introduces the history of the path against the backdrop of broader socio-political issues.
