Accessing Bamford's High Peak Heritage
Location: Derbyshire
The group had a collection of around 1800 documents and original photographs covering a period of 150 years, including a unique collection of newspaper cuttings from the Derbyshire Times detailing life events and social occasions in Bamford over a 40 year period.
The project developed a computerized index of the collection and enhanced access through digitisation of photographs and materials. The group's website was updated to cover the work of the project and a leaflet was produced illustrating a village heritage trail.
