Researching archives at the Local Heritage Centre
Location: Derbyshire
The local heritage centre is based in glossop town centre and archive material spanning across decades can be found there.
Various newspaper stories of the move from Manchester to the Gamesley Overspill are documented in various forms. At the centre we found microfiche copies, original old newspapers and photographs.
We have accumulated a variety of information that will be documented and used for various projects involved with 'smoke to grass'.
