Leafleted introduction to the project, inviting any interested people to attend a public meeting at 2pm.

Names of interested people were taken at the public meeting. These people were organised into a team and briefed, they will work alongside the script team.

Names of interested people were taken at the public meeting. These people were organised into a team and briefed, they will work alongside the historical research team.

Acting Workshop
Venue: Milford School/Fleet Belper
Names of people interested in acting / appearing in the film were collected at the public meeting and an initial workshop arranged at milford school. Presentations on Film Craft, Period design and an Acting workshop/Audition held.
Availability for the proposed filming dates was collected.

Property, costumes, Locations and Scene Design Meetings
Venue: Various
The costumes and props team assembled to discuss and design requirements for each scene. Locations were selected and the requirements documented scene by scene.

Rehersals and Script read through
Venue: Fleet Arts Centre, Belper
The acting team were assembled at the Fleet to do the first of several read through's of the script. The first draft of the film schedule and costume fits.

Director, cameraman, lighting and sound team assembled to finalise the technical specification of the equipment and their requirements for each scene.
