Bakewell Landscape & Archaeological Survey
Location: Derbyshire
This project contributed to an interpretative plan for Bakewell through accurate research of the parish which has not been formerly surveyed in detail.
The group approached this in phases. The group undertook a landscape and archaeological survey of a distinct area of Bakewell, which has enabled local people to record, and gain greater understanding of their landscape.
This project has stimulated interest in the local heritage of the town, and an exhibition was held to exhibit the results of the survey and documented materials.
