The project steering group includes representatives from Woodville Parish Council, local schools (Woodville Infant, Woodville Junior and Granville Community School), local Churches, the Royal British Legion and South Derbyshire District Council. This is further supported by the range of founders who have already committed to the project (3 local developers, Derbyshire County Council, South Derbyshire District Council, Coalfield Regeneration Trust and Heritage Lottery). In terms of consultation the steering group have contacted local historians and history groups, local archivists The Magic Attic, Woodville Library, held a public meeting attended by 30 people and done some initial mosaic design work with a local school. More community consultation on different aspects of the project is planned as the different project elements are realised.
