Billesdon Woodland and Lake
Location: Leicestershire
This project researched, improved and raised awareness of the value of the Gaulby Road Woodland. Part of the site was an Italian Prisoner of War Camp and foundations, infrastructure and one of the original buildings still remain.
There were training opportunities in nature and building conservation and the outputs included two interpretation boards at the site entrance, leaflets covering the natural history and an educational trail leaflet.
