Hallaton Archaeological Heritage
Location: Leicestershire

Hallaton parish contains many important archaeological features. The LHI project aims to involve the local and wider community in tracing the development of Hallaton by geophysical survey. This will support field walking and volunteers will be involved in the identification, annotation and plotting of finds, mapping and interpretation.

Development of a website with graphic and written interpretation of the data will be distributed via exhibitions and presentations. Project results will be stored with the Leicestershire Archaeology Department.

A simple explanatory leaflet will be available and the group will produce a training video to illustrate effective and efficient use of the geophysical surveying equipment.
