Ibstock Grange History Project
Location: Leicestershire

The local community was involved in identifying, interpreting and restoring features on a historically important site.

The project focused on raising awareness and understanding of the site and in developing local capacity, through training and participation. The village is an ex-mining community with significant social and economic problems and the project contributed positively by involving all sectors of the community.
