Ullesthorpe Mill Heritage Project
Location: Leicestershire
The project will involve the local community in research and publication of a booklet on the mill and way of life of the miller and his family and a Mill Map.
The mill grounds will be repaired in a state close to when the mill was built. Several open days/exhibitions will be held and CCTV cameras installed to enable "virtual access" to the machinery and a panoramic view of the upper floors. Two short films will be taken at local mills to provide a visual experience within the context of Ullesthorpe Mill and these will be included on a website with other material.
