Wykin and Higham on the Hill Heritage Survey
Location: Leicestershire
Wykin and Higham on the Hill are sited parallel and approximately one mile to the north of Watling street. They have been neglected as far as archaeological and historical research is concerned.
This project aims to uncover evidence to show the settlement patterns and occupation of these two villages from pre-historic through Roman, Anglo-Saxon, Norman and Mediaeval times to modern day.
