Digby Heritage Project
Location: Lincolnshire

This project consists of a package of community workshops that will contribute to the production of a play, a book and a CD ROM. A video of the play will also be produced and a photographic exhibition.

Professional practitioners will be commissioned to run a series of workshops covering photography (producing a body of images that documents the history of the village and can be used for publication, publicity and the CD ROM) video & editing (resulting in a high quality record of the project), research, writing and editing of the publication. Music sessions will also be held with the primary and secondary schools to write two original songs to be incorporated into the play.

Local residents will research the material for the play, book and CD ROM. The play will be based on the village plague of 1604 whilst the publication and CD will put these events into context with the wider village history
