Field studies around the parish
Local history requires work ‘in the field’ as well as ‘in the library’.
Some of the Project’s field activities are open to all:
e.g. - field walking to find evidence from the past.
- village walk led by a professional historian.
Other activities involving field work are being undertaken by individuals or small groups:
e.g. - surveys of buildings.
- plotting changes in field boundaries.
