Village Trail - Church Path Link
Location: Lincolnshire

Nocton Village Trail Association wanted to create an interpretative path on part of the village heritage trail, which leads to the church - one of two major heritage buildings in the village, but with no user-friendly path up to, into and around it.

After an initial workshop to gauge interest in this project, the local community would have the opportunity to learn the ancient art of mosaic-making, working with professional artists and engineers to create the mosaic and install it.

Research & workshops would investigate and raise awareness of the historical significance of motifs which are found in the church and would be incorporated in the design of the path.
