Woolsthorpe and Colsterworth: "We The People"
Location: Lincolnshire

Colsterworth is an historic coaching village. The parish includes the hamlet of Woolsthorpe which is steeped in history – Sir Isaac Newton was born at Woolsthorpe Manor.

The aim of the project is to record the memories of villagers in sound, vision and print. The group will collect information on the lifestyle and amenities of the village during the 1900s, and also record wartime memories and experiences.

There will be a snapshot of present village life. The result will be a living history for future generations rather than a record of historical facts.
