The Rushcliffe Barn Owl Project was started nine years ago to help to arrest the decline in Barn Owl numbers.

Through this work it has been privileged to see many areas of the Rushcliffe landscape. It is through this work that the ACRES IN TIME project emerged. The Barn Owl Team has noticed vast changes within agriculture and the landscape. Many farms have disappeared through financial hardship, development or have had to diversify away from agriculture to exist.

The ACRES IN TIME Project hopes to capture the essence of the countryside and agriculture, its past present and future. We hope to take a little bit of the past ,put it with the present and archive it for the future.
