Underwood Remembrance Project
Location: Nottinghamshire
The project aims to promote local knowledge of the 1st & 2nd World Wars and the effect on the village and its residents. The project will involve: research into the names of those who fell in the wars; provision of a plaque to commemorate those who lost their lives in WW2; addition of a web page to the village website; encouraging local residents to take an interest in the village & its history; an open public event to unveil the new plaque & display the research.
