Location: Bedfordshire

Gannock Castle is a medieval moated site which is also a Scheduled Monument. The group intends to carry out management work in order to improve access and the heritage, wildlife and local landscape aspects of the site.

Proposed activities include: creating a causeway across the moat to improve access for all; installation of benches and bird/bat boxes; restoration of a wildflower area; tree and scrub management; installation of an interpretation board and creation of a 'Heritage and Health' trail leaflet.

They will also arrange a geophysical survey to find out more about the archaeology of the site. The group also intends to organise community events at the site.
