Since April 2006, 3 wildflower survey walks and mapping have been carried out around Flitwick Wood, King’s Wood and and Wootton Wood to ascertain the distribution and species density of wildflowers within these ancient woodlands.

In addition to the above, 2 wildflower walks, and 2 wildflower seed collection events have taken place at Flitwick Wood and Bowles Wood Bromham with local Cubs and Brownies.

More wildflower walks and seed collections are planned with school children, and 2 Community days scheduled for Sunday 25th June and Sunday 23rd July at King’s Wood Houghton Conquest and Marston Thrift SSSI at Marston Moretaine in Bedfordshire.
