Heritage Walks
Location: Bedfordshire
The Willington Heritage Project, run by the Willington Local History Group, held its first heritage walk around Willington on Thursday 18th of May 2006. Despite the blustery weather, a total of 30 people of all ages, met in the National Trust car park at 7pm. It was gratifying to see that the walkers included visitors to Willington as well as residents of the village.
This will hopefully be the first of many, with differing routes. A Heritage Walk Leaflet will soon be available pinpointing all the historic buildings in and around the Willington area. For a sneak preview, take a look at our "Images Of Willington" page.
