Location: Bedfordshire

The project will consist of two high profile events at the Community Forest's Marston Vale Country Park to raise awareness of the natural, cultural and industrial heritage of the trees, woodland crafts and ancient woodlands in Bedfordshire.
Exhibitors and demonstrators involved with woodlands and associated activities will be invited to share their skills and knowledge of the woodland heritage with its audience, story telling and characterization will feature significantly. Forest volunteers will be trained by a specialist in story telling techniques and be given guidance at producing live shows for the events. Information, demonstrations, have a go sessions and opportunities to talk to the exhibitors will raise local people's awareness of the significance of their local woodland heritage. Local woodland products and produce will be available for purchase. WoodWorks! will be extensively recorded by a team of trained volunteers, a CD-ROM will be developed and information will be supplied to a local archive.
