Ramsey Heritage Matters
Location: Cambridgeshire

Ramsey is a small town situated in the Fens and has a population of approximately 8000 people. The project aims to involve local people in the investigation and celebration of the local heritage in the Ramsey area. The project will raise awareness of the many different forms of local heritage and encourage local people to be involved in accessing, interpreting and conserving different aspects of it.

Huntingdonshire district Council will be taking a coordinating role in this project, with a huge amount of involvement from local groups and volunteers, who will be running events and organising workshops and exhibitions. Activities will include guided walks, open events, wildlife surveys, local heritage talks and roadshows.
