A History of Littlebury
Location: Essex

The aim of the project is the production of a book on the history of the parish of Littlebury from earliest archaeology to 1999.

The parish of Littlebury encompasses the villages of Littlebury, Littlebury Green, Catmere End and parts of the Audley End estate. The group intends to encourage local groups and individuals to carry out detailed studies of various topics which will then be used to create the book.

The group also intends to distribute the book free of charge throughout the parish to all residents, local schools as well as records offices, etc. A few copies will be sold, at a modest price, and all proceeds of sales will be used for a possible phase II to this project or in other community heritage projects.
