This project is restoring the pond in the centre of the village, for wildlife, educational, and recreational purposes.

The project includes clearing the pond of litter and rubbish, restoring the embankments and pond edges, tree surgery, felling and coppicing the surrounding trees, planting new trees as well as shrubs and water plants, re-routing the electricity supplies and a new street lamp, providing benches, and finally improving the drainage and filtration of water running in from the adjacent road.
