Downham Market Heritage Exhibition Area
Location: Norfolk
The project seeks to raise local people's awareness of Downham Market's heritage by creating a permanent heritage exhibition inside the town hall. This will provide a space for regular temporary exhibitions, including those by other heritage groups, local primary schools and local art groups, who have already expressed an interest in the project.
The exhibition will be unstaffed, open to the public three days a week and free of any admission charge.
Primarily the exhibition will be made up of material created by the group, with photographs from their own collections, along with items already on display in various parts of the town hall.
