RSPB Five Suffolk Coastal Reserves - An Illustrated handbook
Location: Suffolk
The aim of the project is to produce and publish a 64 page guide on the environment and heritage of 5 nature reserves located in East Suffolk.
The reserves are: North Warren & Aldringham Walks, Minsmere, Havergate Island, Boyton Marshes and Dingle Marshes.
The group intends to involve a wide range of local volunteers in the research, photography and publication process of the book. The guide book will include information on the fauna and flora to be seen in the reserves; the history, geology, geography, management of the sites as well as the interrelations between land use over time, environmental management and biodiversity.
The book will be launched at a guided walk on a local reserve, which will be widely advertised to local people.
