Kingswood House

Phase 2, Kingswood House Video & Tapestries
Location: Southwark

This project refers to Phase 2 of the Kingswood House project (see SE00030 for details of Phase 1).

Phase 2 involved local people receiving training in tapestry and working under a professional needle-woman to interpret the history of the house through tapestry work. This included renovation of some existing tapestry.

This is a very large tapestry that is located in the entrance hall to the house. It is the first thing that people see when visiting Kingswood House.
