The last full History of the Company was published in 1958 to celebrate the 50th year of the Company. Since then every ten years the annual display programme has been used as a vehicle for updating the company history. This was the case in 1968 and 1978.
In 1988 and 1998 the programmes included narratives from Company captain's and former members of there time in the company and give a valuable view of company like since its formation.
