Project Update
Todate we have concentrated in getting together an awful lot of archive material and where it is on video converting these to DVD to date we have converted over 20 tapes with many more to do.
We have also been in contact with over 150 former members and will be arranging to interview many of them over the coming months.
We have added to this website copies of company archives including the Company register and Rolls for the period 1939- 1987
We have fixed the date for the reunion when the project will cease as 14th June 2008.
Interviews start
we have started interviews with former members Brian Munro , Bob Verrills and Percy Sore. Bob & Brian date back to the 1940's as members in the life boys whilst Percy goes back to 1929.
REUNION FIXED
The reunion to commemorate the companies centenary and at which the books & DVD will be published will be on SATURDAY JUNE 14th 2008
