Lunedale Heritage Project
Location: Durham
This project will work with the local community and schools to research, record and disseminate information relating to dales life for the past 400 years. They will encompass cultural, community and commercial activities by holding at least two open days to encourage community involvement and participation.
The group will create a mobile exhibition and presentational material which will tour schools and community venues and produce a book capturing photographic records, oral reminiscences and local historical facts which will be made available free of charge to all residents.
A website will also be established to showcase some of the material gathered, Workshops will be held for residents in relevant topics such as photography and IT.
