Hartlepool Headland Heritage Project
Location: Hartlepool

The project proposes the research, recording and dissemination of information relating to various aspects of the heritage of Hartlepool Headland.

Through desk based research and interviews with residents and others, the history group aim to compile a photographic record and produce a series of booklets, each pertaining to a significant local character, event, period in history, industrial or civic development.

Two publications per year are planned and these will be supported by a series of talks and lectures, conducted by group volunteers, to local schools, residential homes and other venues. In addition regular events and exhibitions will be held to display information gathered and a new website will be created.
