The Heritage of Exhibition Park
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Exhibition Park has been host to 1887 Royal Jubilee, North East Coast Exhibition 1929, Annual Tyneside Summer Exhibition, and Asian Mela festival. Community members will investigate and celebrate the heritage of Exhibition Park, raising awareness through written, verbal, archival and visual forms, producing CD ROM, trail leaflets, booklets and story map with oral reminiscences, with the help of story workers and visual artists. A celebration story walk day will be held.
