This project is involving the community in the production of a village design statement, surveying the architectural heritage of buildings and the natural heritage of East Ord. Residents will be involved through a questionnaire and workshops. With the assistance of expert architectural advice, the results will be documented in a leaflet and village design statement reports. These will be given to residents and local groups for free.

The local heritage will be researched and interpreted through workshops with artists and an oral history project carried out with an oral historian. Information panels will be placed at important sites in the village.
