Achieving the objectives
Location: Northumberland

The Simonside Youth Theatre Group at any one time consists of up 30 children and young people between the ages of 7yrs and 18 yrs. Members of SYT have often performed in both amateur and professional theatre, as well as television drama and advertising.

Although this project has at times been hard work, they have thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, and are delighted to have been given the opportunity to participate in the pageant of the first Medieval Fayre of St. Bartholomew.

Much of the summer was spent in developing the new skills that were needed in order to help produce the visual impact that a medieval fayre would have on the town.
At the same time a diary was kept that chronicled the events leading up to the weekend of the fayre, this proved invaluable in the production of the booklet.
