Craft Fair
Location: Northumberland

John Martin was not only a painter, he also became the finest mezzotint engraver of his time. His craft skills extended to cabinet making and the designing of equipment. It was decided to arrange an event, which Martin would have approved of, to allow others to demonstrate their skills and hobbies in his spirit.

A Craft Fair was staged in the village Community Centre on the 5th June 2004. This allowed the participants to demonstrate their skills and the visitors to have a go or just be amazed at the expertise there is within the community.

As you can see from the event photographs, the topics ranged from Sculpture and Woodturning to Cake Icing and Decoupage.
