Bat Boxing at Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park
Tuesday 8th August 1:00pm (2hours)
Come along and join the staff at Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park and Tees Valley Wildlife Trust to learn more about the bats that share our night skies. After a short talk there will be an opportunity to construct a bat box. £1 charge to take away. A perfect family event.

Bat Walk at Margrove Park
Venue: Meet Steve at Margrove Heritage Centre
Thursday 31st August 7:30pm (2 hours)
Come along and find out more about bats, we will go for a walk to Margrove ponds and listen for bats with detectors and keep a look out for other night –time creatures.

A Batty Night in Middlesbrough

Come along to Albert Park and meet the small creatures of the night, learn more about their lives in the darkness and then join us for a walk around the park to see them in the wild.

Venue: Meet outside the Talpore to begin the walk
Sunday 17th September 2:30pm (2 hours)
Join Jonathan for a gentle stroll along the River Tees stopping off at Newport Paths to see the seals that feed around the Tees Barrage, and the annual salmon run. Part of the Mammal Action Tees Valley Project. .

Venue: Meet on Bowesfield Crescent to begin the walk

Come along and have a look around the new Bowesfield Nature Reserve and how it is developing, and its future plans. A good opportunity to see some of the mammals that inhabit the site.
