DINOSAUR BONES- END OF AN ERA
This sculpture represent the end of the Dinosaur era, and is Number 11 on the Scupture'Trail Through Time'

About 65 million years ago the dinosaurs were on their way to extinction, it is thought by many that a fallen meteor blocked out the sun with its impact dust cloud and, this lack of sunlight caused them to die out. T Rex was just one of many different types of these huge reptiles that roamed the earth, some were herbivores, some carnivorous and others scavengers and would eat what they could. An adult T Rex stood about 13feet tall and was approximately 41 feet long, from nose to tail, this gave it a stride of over 12 feet, they could way in the region of 7 tons or more. The T Rex was build to hunt other dinosaurs with its sharp teeth and claws, and with its vast stride could overtake and overpower many smaller types of dinosaur.
