Lymm Heritage Trail
Location: Cheshire

The project consists of local groups including the Parish Council, the Local History Group, the Keep Lymm Tidy Group, and the Lakeside Road Residents Association.

The project is helping visitors to enjoy, learn about and celebrate the watercourse of the Lymm Dam catchment, near Warrington.

The dam catchment area includes the Slitting Mill which dates from the 17th century. Nails and barrel bands were made there. Also in the catchment is an early concrete bridge and woodland and wetland areas.

The group is developing a trail, leaflets, and interpretation material.
