The Millennium History of Great Budworth
Location: Cheshire

The project is producing an archive of local history relating to the village of Great Budworth.

The project is also renovating, redecorating and equipping a Reading Room (owned by the Church). This is in order to house an exhibition that the project is producing which will show the village's 1,000 year history. The Reading Room will also house the archive.

The project is also producing two books for publication: 'The Millennium History of Great Budworth', and a book of memories of the older residents of the village.

The project is also planning a permanent visitors' centre, in order to give people access to local history information, copies of documents and signposts to original sources. This will be opened once the exhibition has finished.
