Millennium Project - Restoration of Village Pound (Pinfold).
Location: Cumbria

This project involves the restoration of the village Pound (Pinfold) on White Moss Common, which is a Grade II Listed Building. A Millennium seat is to be constructed as well as an interpretative display, which will be erected on the Common.

The local community will be involved in researching the Common and its Pound, and will present the information to the wider community via talks.

Volunteers will be involved in landscaping and access work and will be given demonstrations of the techniques involved in Dry Stone Walling.
