Hale Park Gates Project
Location: Halton

Hale Park's gates are in a central position in the village and form a locally important feature standing at the entrance to an old estate. Part of the estate is now a park in public ownership and the gates form the access to it. The gates, however, are owned elswhere.

The gates have deteriorated since the estate owners decamped in the 1920s. The project is now restoring this locally important feature for future generations.

Phase 1 of this project, that involved clearance work to the area adjacent to the gates, is already completed. The permission of the owner has been sought.
