The project is informing local residents of their village history, and enhancing the local sense of community.

The group is researching and publishing a village history; the group is also producing an anecdoctal record of life in the twentieth century.

The project is also constructing a profile of the current village population, and producing a plaque showing key historical points, on a map of the village.

The plaque and books will be launched at an exhibition, organised by the project group, in the local church.
