Archaeology of the Thames Valley in the Marlow Area
Location: Buckinghamshire

This project will investigate the archaeology of a prehistoric settlement situated on a site adjacent to the River Thames. Research by the members of Marlow Archaeological Society, including an extensive non-instrusive geophysical investigation has identified the location of a Neolithic and early Bronze age site with evidence of occupation, ritual use and burials.

The project aims to: produce archaeological reports, produce a publication with photos and a CD, create a web site and produce teaching material for schools.
