Web skills course to start soon

Local people in Wolverton are registering for a free web skills course to help them create a website that will celebrate Wolverton's distinctive architectural heritage.

The first meeting will be on Monday April 19th and the tutor is Jane Turner who has a great deal of experience in helping people with few IT skills create excellent quality websites inspired by their local heritage.

There will be 10 weekly sessions at which people will create the website. It will contain the histories of some of their houses, researched during an earlier stage of the History on our Doorstep project, the Industrial Archaeology Trail, the Town Design Guide and the summary of the town characterisation study

There are 10 places on the course and they have all been taken - allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis.
