Restoration of Medieval Penn tiles to Penn Church
Location: Buckinghamshire

The project aims to collect & restore medieval Penn tiles to the church. The area is famous for its tiles. They bought prosperity to the parish & can still be found in historic buildings such as Windsor Castle, Westminster Palace & The Tower of London.

Local children will work with potters to produce & decorate their own tiles in the traditional manner. Some of these will join the existing old tiles in a display in the church. 2 booklets will also be produced, one for adults and one for children.
