Day two of the project and the sun was shining. An early start was made as it is coming up to spring tides and high water is around noon! How inconvenient. It means working early in the morning and late in the afternoon taking measurements. It is such a complex and rich site with old vessels abandoned in the "lake" as well as more modern vessels still in use (and some of them fairly old in their on right). Initial measurements were taken with a surveying GPS set. More on that later. This page is off to a slow start as the editor only joined the team at 5pm.
