Heritage Photographic Courses
Location: Isle of Wight

The aim of the project is to engage the local community, increasing their awareness of the natural heritage that surrounds the Isle of Wight, the coastline is classed as an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Julia Cameron Trust will be organising at least 15 workshops that are going to be held at the Dimbola Lodge, at Freshwater Bay where people can come and learn skills in photographing natural, wildlife heritage, exhibition display skills, and booklet production. Once the local community have developed their skills they will then travel around the Freshwater Bay area recording the wildlife and natural heritage. The local school, West Wight Middle School and the IOW College will contribute to the design of the booklet by writing poems and verse inspired by these images.
