Cheyne Middle School win History Award

Cheyne Middle School has been awarded the Historical Association Young Historian Primary School Award for Local History.
The pupils are researching information for the LHI Tales of Beachfields Park project.
They have been creating questionnaires and interviewing local residents to find out their local history. They are researching the funfair, bandstands, Prisoner of the War hut, boating lake and bowling green.
Cheyne were joint 1st with St Michael's Primary School in Lichfield. They are really proud of their achievement and picked up a £100 book token.
