Blean Initiative members have a busy fortnight showing other ecologists their LHI project display boards.
The Blean Initiative created 3 display boards:.- 1st board: lllustrates history and their local history
- 2nd board: Illustrates the issues for woodland areas. Looking at their decline and the problems that this brings
- 3rd board: How they went about doing their project
Their display boards have been very popular; forming part of the poster presentations and displays throughout the 9th International Congress of the International Society of Ethnopharmacology, University of Kent, Canterbury (14 - 17 June 04.)
They're now off to another conference next week, 'Landscape ecology of trees & forests' starting 21 June, at the Royal Agricultural College at Cirencester. The conference is hosted jointly by the International Association of Landscape Ecology and the Woodland Trust.
