Paleography Course

At the start of the archaeology project, when we began looking at old maps and documents we realised the handwriting and language can be a bit challenging. Heather Forbes, the Cathedral Archivist, runs courses to help people get to started.
Although only one person wanted to study Medieval Latin 17 were keen to learn how to read old handwriting. Courses are usually run for 10 to 12 people so Heather ran a special course for us, funded by the LHI, on Saturday 9th October. 14 people attended (three were unwell).
